Social Accountability International
(SAI) and Council on Economic Priorities Accreditation Agency (CEPAA) have developed
the SA 8000:2001 second issue of the standard. Being relatively a new standard,
it is slowly getting proliferated into the industry and service sector and receiving
appreciable response.
The aim of the programme is to enable
the participants to understand the requirements of SA 8000 in detail and also the
methodology to be adopted for the implementation of SA 8000, leading towards the
Certification of the System.
